Seasonal Allergy Relief PLEASE ?

Question:
I have been hit with the wonderful, seasonal allergies once again I am going for accupuncture, which slowly reduces the symptoms I am looking for a non-allopathic means to systematically eliminate this problem I am vegetarian, trying to exercise more, who works in a respiratory nightmare, otherwise known as O'Hare International Airport. Any ideas welcome, but please no shot therapy, etc. I wipes me out too much.

Answer:
Vitamin C is a natural anti-histamine -- high doses divided throughout the day may help. When my allergies used to be really bad, I'd mix a Vit C powder with water and drink it throughout the day. It did help. You might also consider TBM Allergy Treatment. It has really helped me and my son. Last Spring was the first time in five years that my son went through an allergy season without a stuffy nose or sinus problem. You can get a little bit of info on this at ww.slcnet/tbmesm/history.htm. Or, get the name of a doctor in your area who does TBM by calling 1-800-243-4TBM. Don't bother trying Total Body Modification. It's a health fraud. The allergen vials which are used in this "treatment" are bogus. The level of scientific illiteracy among the general public is really amazing. FWIW, I suffered them 3 months a year for over 15 years, but they disappeared completely after I started sleeping on a magnetic pad over six years ago, which I only tried in the first place so that I could "prove" to others that magnets had no possible health benefits! Prior to that, I would really be suffering at this time of year, unable to go far without a kleenex in my hand to blow my rough reddened nose (allergy season comes early in Florida!) I have no commercial interest in magnets, but I've known other people too who were helped by this (not everyone who tried it, of course). Good luck in finding a solution! A.. is quite right. However, have you had a skin test or a RAST test? If not you are exactly the same as the people who have posted anecdotal evidence here about NAET and TBM working. Whatever it is that NAET or TBM does, it might do it for you. If you had a skin test or a RAST test first, then had treatment, then had another test, you would have documented proof to place before this group. To my knowledge, there is no scientific studies which either confirm the effectiveness of TBM or deny it. It has never been proven to work or proven to be a health fraud. Any statements either way are just opinions. All evidence thusfar is anecdotal. I took a intradermal allergy test a year after being treated for three foods I had previously been found to be allergic to both through intradermal testing and through elimination diet. Two tested to no longer be allergies, one was borderline. I am no longer experiencing obvious reactions to any of these foods. This is an anecdotal report -- not scientific evidence. B.. and A.. do not feel that intradermal allergy tests are accurate. All of the doctor's I've been to have told me that intradermal is the best method to test and create treatments for allergies. They all told me that they feel RAST and skin prick tests to be less accurate. However, some of the more conventional allergists do feel that intradermal tests show too many false positives. There is a huge difference of opinion here but no evidence either way. Like Bubba said, buyer beware but don't be scared off of looking into a treatment due to someone's opinion.
